Aspiring young actress, Manpreet Bambra (Class of 2011) will be playing a lead role in a new 'gritty' teenage drama due to be aired on CBBC on Tuesday 6 December.
Blackburn wins the Double
Jenny Blackburn in the Lower Sixth, this week triumphed in both the Ascot Rotary Club Schools Public Speaking competition and the English Speaking Union Schools Mace Debate.
Update from the Friends of St George's
Operation Christmas Child
In response to this term’s appeal for Christmas boxes, initiated by the Third Years, we achieved a total of nearly 70 boxes from staff and pupils alike, a highly creditable number considering this was just one of the many charities followed this term. Many thanks to the generosity of all contributors!
Booked Up
St George’s has joined forces with Booked Up, the national programme run by the independent charity Booktrust, which aims to encourage First Year pupils to read for pleasure.
House Netball 2011
As the winter nights draw in, the skies around St George’s were lit up by the annual House Netball Competition.

Fifth Year girls Madeleine Landin and Natalia Yatsenko were selected to join a seminar at the Houses of Parliament being held by the UK National Committee for the Prevention of Alcohol and Drug Dependency on 7th November.
