The 4th year Geographers completed their week-long residential data collection fieldtrip based at the Field Studies Centre in Slapton, Devon during the week before half term. It was hard work; with lessons starting early in the morning and going on until 9 pm at night- walking, on average, 4 miles each day! The girls investigated longshore drift in Start Bay, analysed the effectiveness of coastal protection on the cliffs, measured stream variables covering how they change along a river's course and studied the impact of tourism on the Nature Reserve.
