If you are looking
for an excellent education for your daughter in a caring environment
where she can grow as an individual, then we would like to invite
you to come and look at St George's Ascot, either on one of our
Open Mornings or by
private arrangement with our Registrar (Tel: 01344 629920 or
e-mail).
St George's School
Ascot is a small independent school with just under 300 pupils that offers
both boarding and day education. It is conveniently situated
for London and for Heathrow Airport and is just 5 minutes' walk from
Ascot High Street - yet the school has a splendid location
overlooking open fields. Girls here really do have the best of
both worlds.

Whilst realising the importance
of equipping girls with the best possible academic qualifications, we
also want to help them make the most of all their other talents, be they
sporting or creative. Georgians learn to be true friends and to
show respect for others and for the environment.

The
Headmistress
Mrs Caroline
Jordan has been Headmistress at St George's since September 2005.
Educated at St Helen's and St Katharine’s School in
Abingdon, Oxfordshire, she went on to St Edmund Hall, Oxford, to read Earth
Sciences. After a period of working in the commercial world, she decided
to enter the world of education and then completed her PGCE at The
University of Manchester.
The
Pupils Although
the school is an Anglican foundation, we welcome girls of any faith, or
indeed of none. Whilst the majority of our pupils live in the United
Kingdom, we also have pupils from all over the world. We are always
pleased to see how well these girls from overseas settle in and soon
feel at home.
Admission
Admission is usually
by the Common Entrance examination. For further details, please see the Admissions
page.
