Higher Education Advice

Following a programme of general advice and information, girls are allocated an individual Higher Education Adviser who guides them through UCAS.

We also visit a Higher Education Fair which offers talks on a variety of topics and an opportunity to collect information and prospectuses from universities. It is important that girls can offer universities evidence of extra-curricular activities such as sport, music or Young Enterprise; work experience; and development of transferable skills such as team work and leadership. Girls should take advantage of the many opportunities at school as well as undertaking relevant work experience and community service well before submitting a UCAS form.

A practice interview is arranged before each university interview and preparation is given for additional entrance tests, Oxbridge, medicine and vets.
