| Boarding - Frequently Asked Questions |
|
We think it is really important for you to be able to contact your family and friends. Where can I spend my free time? The First and Second years share a common room in the boarding area. This room is for you to use in the evening - to play games, read, watch the television (and DVDs), chat to your friends - even do some work if you want to. There are also two computers with InterNet access available. How often am I allowed to go out? It is possible to go out on lots of weekends during the term and there are four Residents' Weekends each term when all the boarders stay in school for a special programme of outings. Boarders may also choose one weekend per term (two in the Autumn Term) to go home a night earler than usual. This is called a 'Family Friendly Friday' and is useful if your family has a birthday or something to celebrate over a particular weekend.. However, there are some weekends when everyone stays in, so that they can get to know each other better. You will find more information on the page called "Weekends and Exeats". |
