Public Exam Results - Summer 2010

A-Level:

St George's girls celebrated excellent A-level results.

They achieved 100% pass rate with an average UCAS points per candidate equating to grades A*AA plus an additional AS Grade.

We offer our congratulations and good wishes for their future successes at university to all our girls.

GCSE:

St George's congratulates its girls on their GCSE results. We are delighted that our girls achieved on average a grade higher in each subject than predicted by their entry profile.

There were many A* grades across all subjects and our top student achieved A* in all 13 of her GCSEs.

81%  A* -  B grades.

Some league tables have a column giving the percentage of girls achieving 5 GCSEs at  A* - C, including English and Maths.  Because St George's, in line with many other independent schools, has chosen to offer the more challenging IGCSE Maths (International GCSE), which does not count towards the results in the league tables, this column will show a zero.

We are very proud of all our girls' achievements - congratulations to all the girls and their teachers.
