We are incredibly proud to share that St George’s Ascot has been awarded Highly Commended in the Muddy Stilettos Best Schools Awards 2025 for Championing Sustainability.
This award recognises the commitment, creativity and teamwork that go into making sustainability part of everyday life at St George’s. From our Operations Manager’s weekly pledges that encourage small, meaningful changes, to the care and attention of our site team, who protect and nurture our rewilded habitats, this recognition is a testament to our whole community.
Our catering team also plays a key role by reducing food waste through smart menu planning and championing low-impact, seasonal ingredients. We are also particularly proud of how our teaching staff connect pupils with nature, promote wellbeing through the outdoors, and embed sustainable thinking across all subjects.
From solar panels to seed planting as part of Children's Mental Health Week, rewilding to recycling, we take action every day on every level. It is consistent, values-led and impactful.
