We are incredibly proud of two of our talented Year 9 pupils who have recently been accepted onto prestigious training programmes at two of the UK’s most respected arts institutions. These opportunities are an exciting extension to their education at St George’s, and we are thrilled to support them as they pursue their passions beyond the classroom.
At St George’s, we actively encourage our pupils to follow what they love doing, whether in the arts, sport, or other pursuits, and we work hard to support each girl’s unique journey alongside her academic studies.
Matylda B will join the Royal College of Music Junior Department from September 2025. Her exceptional vocal ability truly impressed the panel during her recent audition, and we are excited to see her continue to grow musically, while still taking part in all the wonderful opportunities to shine and share her talents within our school community.

Aaliyah H has been offered a place on the Senior Associate programme at The Royal Ballet School. This weekend training complements her schoolwork perfectly. She has already taken part in the School’s Spring Intensive and will return for the Summer Intensive later this year, an inspiring step in her ballet journey which will complement her active roles in our SGA Sports teams.

We are delighted to congratulate Matylda and Aaliyah and celebrate these successes which reflect the girls’ dedication and energy, alongside our continued commitment to excellence in the arts, both in and beyond the classroom.
