We are delighted to announce that our Head, Liz Hewer has been appointed alongside Vice-Provost of Eton, Peter McKee, and local entrepreneur and businessman Andrew Try, to join the Board of Trustees for The Prince Philip Trust Fund.

The aim of The Prince Philip Trust Fund is to make a real difference to the quality of life of people from communities across the extensive area of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. Established in 1977 as a grant-giving trust, they particularly focus their support towards disability, health, the elderly, families, children and young people, those in social need and the arts.

Taking an active role within our local community and nurturing meaningful relationships with organisations such as The Prince Philip Trust Fund is central to the ethos of St George’s. We give our girls every opportunity to engage with the world beyond school, to widen their broader education, challenge their thinking and encourage service. We are excited that Mrs Hewer will be working closely with the Prince Philip Trust Fund and look forward to sharing news of our pupils’ involvement with their work moving forwards.
