Our Sports Programme

Sport is delivered through a structured and varied programme across the academic year:

  • Autumn Term: Netball and Football
  • Spring Term: Netball, with a full fixture programme
  • Summer Term: Athletics, Cricket and Tennis
  • Year-round: Swimming, fitness training and specialist clubs

Our programme is designed to develop skills progressively, while also fostering teamwork, determination and a strong sense of community.

Competitive Sport & Performance

For those with a passion for competition, St George’s offers a strong fixture list and opportunities to compete at a high level.

Pupils regularly take part in local and regional competitions, with teams achieving success in county events. Performance pathways, such as Performance Swimming Programme, and team squads provide further challenge for talented athletes, supported by experienced coaching staff.

Through competitive sport, girls develop discipline, leadership and the ability to perform with confidence.
