School Nurse/Healthcare Professional

We are seeking to appoint either a full-time (term time – 35 weeks) or two part-time School Nurses or Healthcare Professionals to provide a clinically effective, high-quality service of healthcare and pastoral support to our pupils, in accordance with NMC guidelines. 

The health and wellbeing of our pupils is at the core of the School's ethos. The role of the Healthcare Professional is highly valued, and the successful candidate will play a pivotal part in the pastoral care of our community.

The post holder will be line managed on a day-to-day basis by the resident Deputy Head (Pastoral).

The School offers a homely, spacious, and well-resourced Health Centre, which comprises a treatment room, preparation room, and bedroom and bathroom facilities, alongside dedicated wellbeing and counselling spaces.

The annual salary for this role (for one full time - term time candidate) will be £32,000 - 34,000, which equates to an FTE salary of £47,500 - 50,500 per annum subject to experience. The salary will be paid in monthly installments. It will be pro-rated further if the successful candidate works part-time during the week. 

The working weeks mirror term dates, with a brief overlap at the start and end of each term and the hours of work will be 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be auto-enrolled into the School's Pension Scheme if eligible.

Additional staff benefits include:

  • Staff swimming sessions and family swimming sessions in the recently built 25m, 6-lane indoor pool

Chef de Partie

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join our enthusiastic team of Chefs as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week on a rota basis throughout the year; given the nature of the role there will be an expectation to work flexible hours which will require the successful candidate to work early and late hours with some weekend working.

General Domestic Assistants (various roles)

We have the following vacancies for General Domestic Assistants to start as soon as possible once all safer recruitment checks have been successfully completed:

*Vacancy 1: Working 40 hours per week for 40 weeks of the year; working either 6.30am - 2.30pm (on a rota basis) or 12.00pm to 8.00pm (on a rota basis). 

Vacancy 2: Working 20 hours per week for 40 weeks of the year. The hours of work will be either 6.30am - 10.30am, Monday to Friday or 4.30pm - 8.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Vacancy 3: Working 20 Hours per week, throughout the year, predominantly working each Saturday and Sunday; the hours of work over the weekends will vary depending on the business needs of the School.

The successful candidates will be expected to be flexible in their approach as the working hours may vary slightly due to the School calendar and events including the School Lets which occur during July/early August each year, when staff will be required to work.
