We are excited to announce a new Performance Swimming Scholarship Programme launching this year, designed to support talented swimmers in their pursuit of excellence. As part of this initiative, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Performance Swimming Coach to lead this programme.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of young athletes.
The Coach will play the lead role in mentoring and developing athletes aged 11-18 both in and out of the pool, providing them with the training, guidance and support needed to excel in competitive swimming.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing training plans and analysing performance, thus ensuring swimmers are well-prepared to compete at high level and achieve their full potential.
Swimming at St George's is conducted in our own state-of-the-art, 6 lane 25m swimming pool.
This role will require support at open swimming competitions, therefore a degree of flexibility regarding working hours will be necessary to achieve this.
The start date for this role will be 29 August 2025.

The salary for this role will be in the region of £15,000, which equates to a FTE of £43,500 per annum (subject to experience and exact hours worked) and includes an element for holiday pay.
The successful candidate will be auto-enrolled into the School's Pension Scheme if eligible.
