Choosing the right school is an important journey, and we are delighted to offer a range of opportunities for families to experience life at St George’s Ascot.
From our three termly Open Mornings to our bespoke Meet the Head events, themed Discovery Days and immersive SGA Boarding Stayovers, each event is designed to give prospective pupils and their families a genuine insight into our vibrant school community, exceptional opportunities and welcoming atmosphere.
Our Open Mornings are the perfect introduction to life at St George’s Ascot with the chance to experience the warmth and individuality of our school.
Hear from our Head, Miss Hannah Fox, tour the school with our pupils, meet staff and senior leaders, and discover the huge range of opportunities available.
These events are always popular, and places are limited, so we recommend booking early. The event begins at 9am and we ask families to allow up to 2.5 hours.
Our Meet the Head events are smaller, more intimate admissions mornings designed for groups of up to four families looking for a personal introduction to St George’s Ascot.
Join Hannah Fox for coffee and conversation, followed by a short guided tour of the school and the opportunity to ask questions and to discuss your child’s individual interests, aspirations and next steps. The event runs from 9am - 11am.
A short private meeting with Mrs Semple, Director of Admissions, can also be requested at the time of booking.
Thinking about Sixth Form for September 2027 or beyond? Our Sixth Form Open Evening from 4.30pm - 7pm is the ideal opportunity to experience life at St George’s Ascot.
This a fantastic way to find out what our Sixth Form can offer you and gives the chance to meet some of our current Sixth Formers, senior staff and teachers. You will have the opportunity to discover more about our extensive range of subjects and co-curricular activities.
Our Discovery Days are themed twilight workshops for pupils in Years 5 and 6, offering a fun and interactive introduction to life at St George’s Ascot.
Running from 4.30pm–6.30pm, each event explores a different subject theme and includes hands-on activities, supper and the chance to experience the school in a relaxed setting.
Parents are invited to enjoy refreshments, presentations and tours alongside the event.
An SGA Boarding Stayover may also be requested at the time of booking as these run on the same evenings and follow the Discovery sessions.
The very best way to really experience the warmth, friendship and rhythm of boarding life at St George’s Ascot is at a SGA Boarding Stayover.
Whether an experienced boarder at Prep school or completely new to boarding, our taster nights are a wonderful opportunity to enjoy an evening of fun activities and experience life in one of our cosy boarding houses.
As well as taking part in fun activities, pupils will have the chance to have supper, wind down in one of our common rooms with a hot chocolate, meet the Houseparents and make friends with our current boarders. The evening starts at 6pm. Please contact Admissions to reserve a place, preference will be given to pupils who are registered.
