We are delighted to share that, during the Summer Term 2026, St George’s Ascot will become part of the charitable St Albans Education Group (STAEG).
STAEG is a dynamic and innovative group of highly regarded independent schools, including St Albans High School for Girls Senior School (STAHS Senior) in St Albans, St Albans High School for Girls Prep School (STAHS Prep) in Wheathampstead, and Stormont School in Potters Bar. The Group is recognised for its academic rigour, outstanding pastoral care and forward-thinking leadership.

STAEG, and the schools within the group, share our values of ambition, integrity and community, making this a natural and trusted partnership. Joining the Group will give St George’s the strength, stability and collaboration that come from being part of a respected education group, including cross-school networking and stronger platforms for long-term investment and innovation. STAEG will support our Head, Hannah Fox, to implement her strategic plans for the School, ensuring that St George’s continues to provide an outstanding educational offer, fit for our rapidly changing world.

Joining STAEG opens up so many opportunities for collaboration and development, while allowing St George’s to continue to thrive as a school and build upon our considerable strengths, within a strong charitable trust. As we look to the future, I am excited about how this partnership will enrich the learning experiences of our pupils and create even more pathways to success.

Hannah Fox, Head of St George’s Ascot

We are thrilled to welcome St George’s Ascot into our group. The school’s values and ambitions align perfectly with our own, and this partnership will strengthen our shared commitment to providing exceptional education within a supportive community.
