We are immensely proud that we have been shortlisted for the Independent Schools of the Year Award in the category of Outstanding Educational Partnerships. This recognises our continued commitment to building reciprocal partnerships, both locally and further afield, that benefit both our pupils, staff and the wider community.

The announcement comes just after we have completed our third annual SGA Big Help Out, a much-anticipated event in which pupils and staff volunteer their time and energy to support local primary schools, care homes, local charities and food banks. The initiative embodies our belief that learning extends beyond the classroom and that community engagement plays a vital role in a well-rounded education.

At St George’s, partnerships are woven into the fabric of our ethos. From cross-curricular enrichment days with local schools to pupil-led masterclasses in sport, science and music, our approach to collaborative learning continues to grow in depth and impact.

We are grateful to the Independent Schools of the Year Awards for recognising the purpose and reach of our work. Congratulations to all the other shortlisted schools who are also driving positive change in their communities.

Finalists will be announced in September, wish us luck!
