Sara joined St George’s, Ascot in Year 7 and left at the end of U6 with four A Levels in English Literature, Economics, Biology and History.

Sara is a Play Therapist, helping children and young adults work through difficult life experiences or complex psychological issues, through play. Sara’s interest in understanding the human mind and its influence on thoughts, emotions and behaviour is in part down to a member of her family who has autism.

After leaving SGA studied Psychology at Richmond American University London. Her early career was spent in the USA, where she worked with the Autism Treatment Centre of America, and its Son-Rise Program, a specialist autism therapy. On returning to the UK, Sara completed a Masters degree in Play Therapy at the University of Roehampton, and she now works for Meadows Psychology Service, a specialist provider of therapeutic care to children and young people.

A key skill that Sara has taken from her time at St George’s is the importance of prioritising tasks and doing the hardest thing first. It has really set her up for her adult life!
